Regional and sustainable business models for the Alpine region

The aim of the project is to develop and elaborate ideas for regional and sustainable business models in and for the Alpine region.

Regional and sustainable business models are understood as solutions in which the three dimensions of sustainability (ecology, economy, social aspects) are considered together. The development of such solutions is inspired by existing examples in the Austrian and international context, but special consideration should be given to the specific challenges and characteristics of the Alpine region, such as transportation routes, smaller conurbations or climatic conditions. The
results are therefore not limited exclusively to the Austrian region, but can also be applied in other Alpine regions.
