The International Commission for the Protection of the Alps (CIPRA) is a non-governmental umbrella organization with national representations in all Alpine countries, representing over 100 associations and organizations. It works for sustainable development in the Alps and is committed to the preservation of natural and cultural heritage, regional diversity and integrative solutions to cross-border challenges in the Alpine region.
